Mulling Cares: Ending 2025 with Gratitude and Giving

The Mulling Insurance team cares deeply about our community, and giving back continues to be a meaningful part of our company culture through our philanthropic initiative, Mulling Cares. While our employees support local causes throughout the year, the holiday season is one of our favorite times to come together and spread joy where it’s needed most.

As we wrapped up 2025, our team partnered with several incredible organizations serving children, seniors, and families across Polk County and the surrounding areas. Read more about these nonprofit partnerships below!

Supporting Families & Children During the Holidays

One More Child provides Christ-centered services to vulnerable children and struggling families in our community and globally. Through foster care, anti-trafficking, child hunger, single moms, and family support programs, the nonprofit offers comprehensive care to help One More Child.

This holiday season, our team sponsored 20 children, providing gifts to support single moms and help make the holidays a little brighter for their families.

Senior Orphans of Polk County – Holiday Gift Sponsorship
We also supported Senior Orphans of Polk County by sponsoring 20 local seniors. Each senior received three thoughtfully chosen gifts, totaling 60 gifts overall. It was a meaningful way to ensure our senior neighbors felt remembered and celebrated during the holiday season.

Fundamentals for Kids
In addition, we sponsored 12 children through Fundamentals for Kids, helping provide support for students who need it most. While we didn’t capture photos from every school we assisted, the impact of these contributions goes far beyond pictures.

Senior Orphans of Polk County - Fall Food Drive

Senior Orphans of Polk County is a volunteer-run organization helping seniors in Polk County living off of a fixed income of less than $600 a month. Many of these individuals struggle to cover basic necessities and are faced with the difficult choice of buying food or medication. Senior Orphans collects community donations to provide hygiene items, cleaning supplies, and other household products to lessen the financial burden for these seniors.

Our team came together for the Senior Orphans Fall Food Drive—and it was truly an incredible day. Thanks to the generosity of our team and community, we raised over $5,000 to support local seniors.

Those funds were used to purchase and assemble more than 200 care packages, each containing 30+ servings of food and snacks. It was inspiring to see our team work side by side to assemble the packages and ultimately serve such a special group of seniors right here in Polk County.

The Mission Of Winter Haven

The Mission of Winter Haven is an established faith-based nonprofit organization. They provide day shelter services to those who are hungry and experiencing homelessness.

Our team joined Grove Roots Brewing Co. to help stock their food pantry and support local families in need. We’re grateful to play a small part in such an important cause and we’ll keep finding ways to lend a hand wherever we can!

We are proud to support these organizations that work tirelessly to serve our community. Their impact extends far beyond the holiday season, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with them throughout the year!
